it's in a week.
a whirl of badly written chinese, stumbling translations, notes that bring tears
a phone call that means nothing and shouldn't mean anything and yet i'm still trying to make something
out of stories not my own and situations in an alternate universe(again)
in a place where berry ladies hallucinate of shadow hands and a piano that goes backward
because it's too hard to go forward and the rain makes everything standstill.
still hoping for the stardust of tomorrow.
in such a place i want to find.
I do not believe I have ever felt this excited for winter break. Now one part of it is obv. the fact that I haven't been living at home, so it is nearly time for
THESUPERBIGWARMWONDERFULBEDOFMINE
and being home. and eating. actual FOOD.
I will never ever get tired of the fact that I will have actual food to eat at home. Especially since the rice here....sucks. I don't think it's jasmine rice, which is what I eat at home, but besides that.....they cook it weeeeeeeeeeeeird ;____;
It's so chunky and hardish and NOT RICE ;____; But I deal with it of course, because rice is rice...I feel like I'm eatting fattening rice, tho, if there is sucha thing =___='
Speaking of jasmine rice, Steve said I actually eat "expensive rice" and am thus spoiled in the rice department. Don't you guys eat jasmine rice? What other types of rice do asian people eat? o_O Rissa is confused. XD
Also, I do believe this is the first time in a VERY long time that I've had a REAL winter break. I think it is the lamest thing in the world that finals at northgate were like two weeks after winter break...I remember for the past four years, I was always doing SOME sort of studying during break.
But now we're really, truly DONE!!!!! It's a very nice feeling :) And this time it's for three weeks! I like to round, and say it might as well be a month :D Waaaaah~ a whole month of being at home <3
I cannot wait to see everyone again :D and have parties and have sleepovers and watch movies, and it's all just gonna be wonderfulicious.
...................cept there is this matter of christmas shopping....hmmmmmm......
I actually do have work of sorts over winter break though...haha..only because Rissa is crazy. Let's list them! XD
This is definitely not in order of importance....but yea....so much translating to do, homg. XD
1. My Lucky Star Episode 20 Last Part
2. Huan Zhu Ge Ge Episode 12
3. Mean Girl Ah Chu Episode 6 Part ??
4. 18 Jin Bu Jin Episode ?? Part ??
5. Translate 2+ chapters of 100 Day Contract
6. Translate rest of Animal Farm
7. Post up new chapter of The Wolf Necklace
8. Write two chapters of Shige's story
9. Write more of Circle in the Sand
10. Study Japanese for placement test
And there's like so many other things I need to do, but the writing and the translating is especially important....lol i think in all that may be more than 3 hours of videos to translate XD
The writing is just important to me, because I need to write and I feel accomplished even if I only get about a paragraph out. Plus two of those stories have been LOOOONG in the making and planning....one of them I haven't updated in a little over a year :x
And I cannot wait. for. homg. christmas eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeve. JAY CHOU HERE I COOOOOOME *_____________________________*
Hm. That's enough procrastinating....I should go pack to go home XD
